Gastonia Man Arrested for Urinating in Street

AR-160509837.jpg&MaxW=315&MaxH=315Gastonia Police arrested a man after they said he stopped his car in the middle of the street to urinate.

On Tuesday just before 1 a.m., an officer reportedly saw a car parked on Radio Street near North Morris Street and the driver was urinating outside, the police report shows.

Eleazar Panfillo Hernandez, 43, of North Ransom Street in Gastonia, was unsteady on his feet and smelled like alcohol, officers said.

Hernandez refused a breath test after he was taken to Gaston County Jail and held on a $3,000 bond.

He was charged with possession of an open container, DWI, and driving with a revoked license.
