Gastonia Woman Pawned Stolen Diamond Ring for $260

AR-160509957A Gastonia woman was arrested on Wednesday for selling a ring she stole from a store.

Police arrested Ashley Nichole Sellers, 30, a week after she sold the waterfall diamond ring for $260 at West End Pawn and Gun on 2564 W. Franklin Blvd., according to arrested records.

The true worth of the ring was $12,000, which is 46 times more than what Sellers sold it for.

She has been charged with trying to get property under false pretenses and felony larceny.
