Police have arrested a doctor in Huntersville on child pornography charges.
Dr. David Shope, 41, a hematologist-oncologist, was charged on Oct. 1 with two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to Mecklenburg County jail records.
