Husband Shot Chasing Wife’s Stolen Car

Authorities in Charlotte are looking for the man who stole a BMW from outside a Charlotte couple’s home and shot the victim’s husband in the process. The incident took place on Thursday morning at about 5:30. The husband started the silver 2003 BMW that belonged to his wife and left it running in their driveway, located on the 6110 block of Balsam Fir Drive.

After hearing a noise outside, the husband looked out a window and saw the car being driven away by the suspect. This led the man to pursue the suspect in his own car. The chase eventually led to East W.T. Harris Boulevard, where the suspect fired several shots, hitting the husband in the arm.

The husband was taken by Medic to Presbyterian Hospital. The BMW was eventually found by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police at the junction of Trysting Drive and East W.T. Harris Boulevard. If you have any information about this incident, please call Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600.

Smh. no actually the husband was real dumb for trying to pursue an unknown criminal over a car that probably insured. When are people going to learn not to put there life in danger over simple possesions.
