A man was robbed outside a Walmart in Lancaster on Monday by two armed men wearing masks, police said.
The incident occurred outside the store on the S.C. 9 bypass around 11:30 p.m., a Lancaster Police Department statement said. The victim told police he had been emptying trash containers at the store’s south end when the suspects approached him, brandished guns, and demanded money.
The suspects took the victim’s ID card and cash before running toward the stadium bus lot at Lancaster High School, the victim told police.
The suspects had been wearing ski masks that were red, white, and blue, dark shorts, and white T-shirts.
Police said the area was searched by K-9 teams but didn’t find anything. No arrests have been made by the incident is still being investigated.
