Man Arrested 2 Times in Same Weekend

ar-161029070A Gastonia man was arrested twice over the weekend and is currently still held at Gaston County Jail.

Police first arrested Scottie Young Langford, 46, of Bolivia Drive, early on Saturday. Arrest reports show Langford drove his car off the road before hitting a satellite dish and tree. He had been intoxicated and passed out from the crash.

After police woke up Langford, they said he had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. He also registered a 0.15 on a breath test after being taken to jail, according to reports. He was charged with driving without a license and DWI and was in jail 10 hours before he posted a $5,000 bond.

Langford wasn’t free for long, though. He was arrested again on Sunday morning and facing charges for injury to personal property and assault on a female. He was still held there on a domestic violence hold as of Monday morning.
