CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. – Investigators at the Chester County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Lee Raynard Robinson of Chester Thursday after a report that Robinson was “acting crazy”.

According to a press release, after Robinson was told several times to leave a home on Ashford Rd, Robinson hit the victim with a cane and started pacing.

Investigators say Robinson then went across the street, returning with a gas jug that he started pouring on the corner of the house and the victim’s vehicle.  Officers say Robinson told the woman he would “burn her up”.

The woman was able to stop Robinson from igniting the fire, and Robinson left before officers arrived. He was arrested a short time later in the wood line near his home.

Robinson is charged with Arson/Attempts to Burn. He is being held at the Chester County Detention Center.
