A man has been arrested and charged in the burglary of a north Iredell home on Lewis Ferry Road in the western end of the county on Dec. 6.
33-year-old Andrew Curtis Creech of Harmony was charged with first-degree burglary, felony larceny after breaking and entering, and obtaining property by false pretense, and jailed on a $15,000 bail.
The homeowner was awakened by a loud noise when she got out of bed to find a Creech standing in her living room, investigators said. The man then told the woman to stay in her kitchen or he would burn her house down.
Creech stole a flat screen TV from the home among other items.
