An Indian Land man is facing 17 charges for child porn, a news release said on Friday.
The felony charges facing Ray Gene Cook are 11 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and six counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. His bond is set at $600,000.
For both offenses, Cook could face up to 10 years in prison for each count.
Cook send child porn over a file-sharing network, police said. He was arrested by a Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force member, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.
