The same day 30-year-old Michael Kerr was released from jail after attacking an airplane crew while drunk on a flight to Charlotte, he got engaged.
Kerr was held overnight in Mecklenburg County Jail after the incident before being released last Friday. On that same day, it was announced on his Facebook page that he was engaged.
Kerr was arrested after having three whiskeys on a one-hour flight from Lexington to Charlotte. He shoved, kicked, threatened, and spit on multiple flight attendants on the flight.
He was charged with interfering with the performance or duties of the flight crew and attendants. Kerr, who is from Lexington, Ky., will be in a Charlotte courtroom next week to determine whether he’ll be allowed to stay free.
