A man was cut in the face with a razor by another man Saturday night at a bar in Rock Hill.

The 33-year-old victim was at Celebrations on Cherry Road when he stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and a man attacked his face with a razor.

The attacked man ran to a nearby Exxon and told the counter clerk that someone was chasing him with a gun. The clerk told him to leave, so the victim ran back to Celebrations.

Police were called around 11:15 p.m. and met the victim at the bar. He was taken for treatment at Piedmont Medical Center.

A possible suspect was identified by police after speaking with witnesses, but the name of the suspect was redacted from the police report. Police also got surveillance video from the Exxon.

No one had been arrested as of Monday.
