WATAUGA COUNTY, N.C. — The Watauga County Sheriff’s Office arrested Timothy Blake Hampton of Zionville on suspicion of inappropriately touching a 3-year-old child, according to a news release.
The Sheriff’s Office said it received a report on June 14 and authorities and agencies, including the county Department of Social Services and the State Bureau of Investigation, began conducting the investigation.
Hampton was charged with one count of first-degree attempted sex offense and one count of indecent liberties with a child.
He is in jail under a $350,000 bond. His next court date is Sept. 24.
