Man Robs Drug Store And Getaway Car Hits Employee

The man who robbed a Gastonia CVS on New Year’s Day is still on the loose. His accomplice- a female- that drove the getaway car is also wanted for hitting a store employee with the car.

The robbery took place at the CVS Pharmacy on Court Drive. He stole a variety of items and then jumped into a 1995 gray Ford car. A store employee chased after him, but was hit by the vehicle. According to police, the employee traveled about 300 feet on the hood of the car before being thrown off.  The employee’s condition is not known.

The only description police have on the accomplice is that she’s a white female. The robbery suspect is a white man, about 6’1″, 140 lbs, and has blue eyes and sandy colored hair. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 704-861-8000.
