No one was hit and one person was injured after two men fired shots in an attempted robbery at a Waffle House in Charlotte on Sunday night.
Medic and Charlotte-Mecklenburg police responded to the scene right before 9:30 p.m. at the University City area Waffle House on Stetson Drive.
Two men had come into the restaurant and shot bullets, police said. No one was injured by the shots, but one person was injured from ducking to avoid the fire.
Police were searching for a silver SUV containing a license plate from Georgia.
