Mount Holly Man Said He was White Supremacist

CIC Default CrimeA Mount Holly man was arrested after yelling racist comments and saying he was a white supremacist in Belmont on Saturday.

Joseph Shane Pasour, , 25, of Norton Road in Mount Holly yelled the remarks at a couple in the parking lot of the Abbey Inn at 7008 E. Wilkinson Blvd in Belmont.

Arrest reports show Pasour said certain person of certain nationalities should die and that he was a white supremacist.

Police arrested and charged Pasour with misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, communicating threats, and resisting an officer. He was held on $5,000 bond in Gaston County Jail.

Pasour was released from jail just last month and is currently on probation. He’s been previously charged with resisting an officer, malicious conduct by a prisoner, assault, violation of a protection order, larceny, and breaking and entering, the Department of Correction website shows.
