The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office booked and charged a man accused of killing another man Friday night. Matthew Anthony Moore, 26, is being charged in the shooting death of Kevin Lee Cole. The shooting happened at Moore’s home, which is located on Mooresboro Road in Mooresboro. The victim was found dead on Moore’s back porch.
Moore is being held at the detention center in Cleveland County, without bond. He is scheduled to make his court appearance on Monday with first degree murder charges.
