The second suspect in Mecklenburg County’s first homicide of the year has turned himself in to the authorities on the morning of Sunday, January 6th.

Nineteen year-old Dontae Leverne Torrance was arrested in connection with the case on Wednesday. Farrar now faces charges including murder, conspiracy, and attempted murder. Authorities are saying the incident stemmed from a drug deal.
