Person Arrives to Urgent Care with Life-Threatening Shooting Injuries

ShootingA person who sustained life-threatening injuries from a shooting Sunday was able to get themselves to an Urgent Care facility and was then taken to the hospital.

Details on the shooting and the location have not been released by police, except that it happened before 6 p.m. sometime.

The facility is on Albemarle Road, near the Eastland Mall, and treats minor injuries.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg investigators were coming in and out of the facility late Sunday with evidence transported in brown bags. They declined questions from reporters.
