Police have charged a man in the death of Alexia Mayfield, a woman who was found in her Charlotte apartment shot and killed Friday night.
Immanuel Felton, 23, was located by officers Saturday and taken into custody, CMPD said.
Police received a call to the Little Rock Apartments in the 1300 block of Nobles Avenue on Friday right before 9:30 p.m. Mayfield was found there with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not said if there was a motive for the shooting.
