MINT HILL, N.C. — Police are investigating a shooting at a Mint Hill gas station early Wednesday.
The shooting happened at about 3:30 a.m. at the Sunoco station at the intersection of Margaret Wallace Road and Idlewild Road.
At least one person was injured.
Police are investigating whether the shooting is connected to a second scene. MEDIC was called to the Apartments at Stoney Trace for a person suffering gunshot wounds. That person was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Crime scene detectives are at the gas station marking evidence and interviewing workers.
