CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating the disappearance of a missing 17-year-old girl.
Just after 10 p.m. Monday, Alyssa Aubrey Webb’s father reported her missing to police. Alyssa’s father told police that she went to Northlake Mall to go shopping around 3:45 and never returned. Police say Alyssa has also not contacted any of her family or friends.
Surveillance video from the mall shows Alyssa interacting with people that evening between 5 and 7.
Alyssa is described as a white female standing 5-foot-3 and weighing 105 pounds. She has sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, black capri pants, white shoes with black leopard print and carrying a black and white backpack. Police say she has a double-piercing on the right side of her lower lip.
