CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating an early Thursday morning shooting in northeast Charlotte.
Police said one person was shot outside the Mighty Midget Mart convenience store around 4:30 a.m. on Beatties Ford Road near LaSalle Street.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still searching for a suspect and gathering more details to the shooting.
