Police Looking For Man Who Exposed Himself In Walmart

Surveillance Video of PervertSTATESVILLE, N.C. — Police in Statesville are hoping someone can identify a man who’s wanted for exposing himself in the children’s department at Walmart in June.

On the afternoon of Sunday, June 15, Statesville Police responded to Walmart on reports of indecent exposure.

A witness told officers that a man was standing behind display shelves in the children’s clothing department performing a lewd act while watching several young girls.

The witness confronted the suspect, according to police, who then quickly walked away. The witness attempted to follow the man, but was also able to call 911 and alert store employees.

Pervert truck 1pervert truck 2A loss prevention officer was able to retrieve video surveillance of the suspect, who was seen leaving in a red GMC four-door pickup with chrome bumpers and step rails. Police say there are three decals on the rear window. A tag number was not available.

The suspect is described as a heavy set white male with a light complexion, standing about 6-foot-tall, with short strawberry blonde or red hair. He was seen wearing a red sleeveless t-shirt with a shield logo on the front, khaki shorts and flip flops.
