Detectives with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department are looking for two people responsible for an attempted armed robbery on November 25. The two entered the One Stop Smoke Shop in the 9600 block of University City Boulevard. The female had a knife and demanded money from the clerk. The suspects did not take any merchandise.
The first suspect is a light skinned black female, 5’5″, medium build, and was wearing a hoodie at the time. The second suspect is a light skinned black male, 6’3″, with a small afro, and was also wearing a hoodie. Both are believed to be in their early 20’s.
