Police Searching For Armed Robbery Suspects

fingerprintCHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte police are searching for two men who robbed employees and customers at a northeast Charlotte gas station Wednesday.

An employee at the Seven-Eleven on Mallard Creek Road said two men came into the store with guns early Wednesday morning, demanded money and forced employees into a back room.

Police said the men took off in a customer’s car after stealing credit cards, cash and cell phones.

Two men also robbed another gas station about five miles away Wednesday, but police wouldn’t say if the two are connected.

Police have not released a description of the robbers.
