SALISBURY, N.C. – Police in Salisbury are looking for a person they say stole a pocketbook from South Lexington Elementary School in Lexington and then used the victim’s debit card to withdraw money from a credit union.
The incident was reported on March 31 when the victim’s vehicle was broken into at the school, taking the pocketbook.
At 1:30 p.m. the suspect withdrew $1,500 from victim’s bank account at State Employees Credit Union in Salisbury, police say.
The suspect was possibly driving a gold Dodge Caravan.
