Police say one person has injuries that are potentially life-threatening from an uptown Charlotte collision Wednesday.
According to the Charlotte Fire Department, the wreck happened around 9:25 p.m. It took a dozen firefighters about 10 minutes to get the person out of an entrapment from the wreck at East Ninth and College streets.
The patient was taken to Carolinas Medical Center for their injuries, according to Lester Oliva, Medic spokesman.
Oliva said there was another person who sustained minor injuries. They were tended to at the scene.
