Public Defender Charged With Assault On Female, Resisting Officer

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Public defender David Curcio was arrested Thursday on charges of assault on a female, according to police.

According to police it was a domestic fight, but they aren’t releasing any other details.
Police told Channel 9 it was a domestic fight.

When asked if Mr. Curcio still works there, the public defender’s office said they will have to decide later if he should face any disciplinary action.

Mr. Curcio was booked and charged with assault on a female, resisting a public officer and contempt of court.  He was released on a $3000 bond.
