Rock Hill Domestic Dispute Leads to SWAT Standoff with Man

CFiN4B2UUAAa0yYA Rock Hill SWAT team is in a standoff with a man who, after having a domestic dispute with his wife, barricaded himself inside his house located at 841 Horseman Drive.

The man is alone in the home and has a shotgun. The man reportedly shot the gun into the wall or ceiling sometime during last night at the time of the dispute.
The man’s wife sustained injuries but was not shot and EMS took her to Piedmont Medical Center for treatment.

Police first responded to scene after a distressed call from a female at around 5:50 a.m. Negotiators have been working with the 52-year-old suspect in the home since around 7:30 a.m. The man at first wouldn’t talk but then started shouting back and forth with negotiators through a window around 10 a.m. as they asked him about what occurred last night.

Both EMS and the fire department are on the scene.
