Rock Hill Man Arrested for Throwing Rocks Through Home Window

According to the victim and homeowner, she had been sitting at her kitchen table around 1 a.m. when someone started throwing bricks through the window behind her. She was struck on the right temple, which cut her head, according to police.

The suspect, William Jackson, had been asked to leave by the victim earlier because he was drunk and being belligerent. He was charged with third-degree assault and battery and transported to the Rock Hill city jail. He was released on $800 bond Thursday.

The victim was taken for treatment to the hospital.

Two bricks were found on the floor and a broken window was found in the kitchen, police said.
