A Rock Hill man has been arrested for kidnapping his girlfriend and domestic violence, jail records and police reports show.
Darryl Gene Adkins III, 22, was arrested on warrants from incidents that happened in November, according to police reports.
Adkins girlfriend told police she had to lock herself in a bathroom for two hours before trying to get away on Nov. 20 during an argument between the two, according to reports.
Adkins allegedly tried to keep his girlfriend from fleeing by grabbing her hair, the report shows. There were warrants obtained for Adkins for domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature and kidnapping but officers couldn’t locate Adkins then, reports show.
Last week, Adkins also allegedly smashed into the vehicle belonging to his girlfriend outside a business on Dave Lyle Boulevard, reports show. Adkins was arrested late Friday on seven charges and denied bond by a Rock Hill municipal judge.
