Rock Hill PD Searching For Suspect Considered Armed And Dangerous

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police are searching for a teen who they said shot and killed a man in Rock Hill just after midnight Sunday.

Investigators said Santario McCoy was shot and killed by Donquavious Davis at 432 Baker St.

Friends of the victim said the shooting occurred because of a woman.  They said McCoy was dating Davis’ former girlfriend, who is also the mother of his child.

Investigators say the victim was playing video games at a friend’s house when someone knocked on the door.  McCoy opened the door and Davis then punched him in the face and shot him in the chest.

McCoy died before medics arrived.

A murder warrant has been issued for Davis.

Davis has a listed address of 334 Freidheim Road in Rock Hill. He is 19 years old, 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds.

He is considered armed and dangerous. Investigators said he is on the run and his whereabouts are unknown.
