Rock Hill Police Arrest Man in Child Abuse Case

Rock Hill police arrested a man this weekend in connection with the abuse of a 2-year-old girl.

Police issued warrants last week for 21-year-old Rkeem Moffatt. According to police records, he was charged with unlawful conduct towards a child.

The female child had bruises all over her body and was taken to Piedmont Medical Center before being transported to a Charlotte hospital. The 2-year-old was in critical condition.

25-year-old Sabrina Culp of Keiger Street had left her young daughter with Moffatt. She told police she hadn’t noticed the bruising on the girluntil she came back from work. But according to investigators, the bruises had been in different healing stages

Culp has been charged with unlawful conduct toward a child and was released later on bond of $4,000.

An alert had been issued by police Wednesday seeking help from the public in finding Moffatt.
