William Paul
Nineteen year-old William Paul was arrested on the 5th of January after his flight landed at Charlotte Douglass International Airport. Paul allegedly assaulted a female U.S. Airways flight attendant during his flight to Charlotte from Lexington, Kentucky.
William is the grandson of Ron Paul, the former presidential candidate, and the son of Rand Paul, a Senator from Kentucky-(R). Police have charged him with assault on a female by aggressive physical force. In addition to this, Paul is facing charges of disorderly conduct, being intoxicated and disruptive, and consuming wine/beer under the age of 21.U.S. Airways has denied serving Paul, who is under the legal drinking age, any alcohol. This story is gaining attention after the assault charge, which was not initially included in media reports, has come to light.
