Police in Lincoln County began round 2 of the drug raid called “Operation Route 66” at 6:00 Wednesday morning. They were looking for 66 suspects who were indicted by a grand jury last week. These men and woman were high-profile street-level drugs dealers, high-level traffickers, and some first-time offenders.
Officers say some of these suspects are the county’s leading drug dealers. So far police have arrested 21 suspects in the first five hours of the drug raid and hope to arrest more in the coming days.
