Salisbury Man Shot in the Back at His Apartment Complex

CIC Default Crime ReportA man who was shot in the back while in his apartment Monday night has been hospitalized and is said to be in good condition, police said.

Joshua Harrison, 32, was found by police outside the apartment, located in the 200 block of West D Avenue, about 8:20 p.m. He was transported for treatment to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

According to witnesses, a gunshot was heard and then a man they believed to be Harrison was chased by another man with a gun through the apartment complex.

A search warrant police obtained for Harrison’s apartment revealed illegal narcotics and cash inside the home.

Police said the shooter was wearing a dark hoodie and had short dreadlocks.
