America's Most Wanted To Feature Charlotte Triple Homicide

When efforts to identify the person wanted for questioning in connection with the February 4, 2008 murders at 6002 Patricia Ryan Drive yielded few leads, CMPD detectives pitched the case to America's Most Wanted. The AMW production crew is in Charlotte today to film for a segment on its weekly television program. Starting today, the case is being featured on its website.

The bodies of Kevin Ashley Young, 34, and Kinshasha Wagstaff, 33, were found in the burned remains of the house on Patricia Ryan Drive that Wagstaff owned. The Medical Examiner determined Young had been shot and his throat slit and Wagstaff had been stabbed. The body of a third victim, Wagstaff's niece, Jasmine Ranae Hines, 18, was found on Howell Ridge Road in Huntersville. She had been shot twice.

Leads developed early in the case led detectives to a convenience store where the subject was captured on video inside the store buying several items relevant to the case. "We have repeatedly circulated the photos of the subject through media and law enforcement networks, but have had few productive leads," said CMPD Detective Phil Rainwater. "We are grateful America's Most Wanted has agreed to feature this case. We need this national exposure to help us identify and locate this individual."
