Dorothy Bowen
MATTHEWS, N.C. – Officials are searching for a missing Matthews woman and issued a statewide alert for her early Thursday morning.
The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for 78-year-old Dorothy Brogan Bowen around 6:30 a.m.
Officials believe Bowen may be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
She’s described as a white woman, 5′ 3″, with short, gray hair and gray eyes.
She was last seen at a home along Keziah Road in Matthews
Bowen may possibly be driving a gray 1999 Honda Accord with a North Carolina license plate with “MNE-5448” written on it.
