GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Gaston County Police issued a Silver Alert for a missing 81-year-old man on Monday morning.
Elmer Gene Norman, 81, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, according to the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons.
Norman is described as a bald white male, weighing about 180 pounds with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a khaki shirt, blue pants and a black jacket in the 4100 block of Mountain View Street in Gastonia.
Norman’s vehicle, according to authorities, is a 2006 Mercury Marquis, white, with NC tags “NRW5822”.
