Six Injured in Charlotte Bus Accident

CIC Default Blue LightSix people face injuries, two with serious injuries, after a bus accident occurred on Tuesday morning in Charlotte, according to police.

The accident occurred about 8 a.m. on Oaklawn Avenue.

According to police, a school bus was hit by a car head-on. There were three people in the car and all of them were taken to the hospital. Two of the car victims had serious injuries.

Three bus passengers were also taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police said speed seems to be a factor in the wreck and that the driver was not harmed.

There have currently been no charges made in the case.
