A handmade necklace worth $500 was stolen Thursday from the Arts Council of York County, Rock Hill Police said.
The theft was reported by a worker at the Arts Council on East Main Street after she noticed it missing. It was last seen two days before the report, on July 12.
The necklace consisted of a metal chain with multi-colored plexiglass charms. There are cameras at the Arts Council, but they had not been working at that time, the worker said.
