Located in southwest of Mecklenburg County, the Steele Creek Division is the fastest-growing area of Charlotte. The division encompasses just over 60 square miles including many industrial sectors. In addition, Steele Creek Division is adjacent to a large part of Lake Wylie. As of September 19, CMPD opened its new Steele Creek office at the intersection of Westinghouse Boulevard and South Tryon Street.
