A woman on a subway train in New York City was punched by someone else on the train before she threw the insects she was trying to sell into the air and started screaming, according to witnesses.
The woman was attempting to sell worms and crickets to passengers on the D train in Manhattan on Wednesday around 6 p.m. She was punched or pushed by a teenage passenger or passengers, witnesses said.
When the woman screamed and threw the bugs in the air, it caused passengers to push to the end of the train car and one pulled on the brake. The car was stopped for at least 30 minutes between stations and the air conditioning was shut off.
When other passengers attempted to restrain the woman, who was still screaming, she tried to vomit on them and started urinating on herself, according to the New York Post.
The woman was arrested by police who were waiting for her once the train arrived at DeKalb Avenue station.
