A Florida woman was arrested after throwing squid in her boyfriend’s face before fleeing.
Joanne Accetturo, 61, walked up to her longtime boyfriend on Monday evening as he was eating squid at a restaurant on Indiantown Road in Palm Beach County. Accetturo then slapped the man in the face, took the squid he was eating, and threw it at her boyfriend, covering him in it, according to the police report.
The report shows Accetturo then threw her boyfriend’s wallet and left in a four-door Buick Lesabre.
Accetturo also tried to hit the man with an outdoor chair she had grabbed from Einstein Bros. Bagels, a witness told police.
She was arrested at her home in Jupiter on Tuesday, according to the report.
