Surveillance Pics Released From Concord Robbery Spree

Concord Surveillance 2Concord Surveillance 1CONCORD, N.C. – Concord police are investigating a series of armed robberies that were reported between Friday and Sunday.

Investigators believe the three events may involve some or all of the same suspects.

The first incident occurred about 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Three men entered La Palmita convenience store located at 208 Kerr Street NW in Concord.

One of the three men produced a handgun and demanded money from the store employee. After obtaining money from the cash register all three men fled on foot, according to police.

The first suspect is described as a white man wearing a blue shirt, white tennis shoes and had receding hair line. This suspect produced the handgun. This person appeared older than the other two, police said.

The second suspect is a white man wearing a gray sweatshirt with a college logo and a red hat. The third suspect is a white man wearing a gray long sleeve shirt.

Concord surveillance 3The second incident occurred Sunday at about 3 p.m. A white man approached a service window at the S&I Soft Serve ice cream shop located at 587 Church Street. The suspect produced a handgun, demanded money from the register and fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 6-feet tall with a medium build.

The third event occurred about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday. A white man entered the Branchview Express Store located at 269 Branchview Drive in Concord, produced a handgun, and demanded money from the register. The suspect again fled on foot, according to police.

The suspect in this incident is described as a white man, in his late-twenties to mid-thirties, about 5-feet-11 inches tall with a medium build and receding hair line.
