A suspect was injured from a shot from a sheriff’s deputy in Cabarrus County in Concord on Thursday, police said.
The suspect had been driving a stolen car. The deputy was following the suspect when the vehicle spun out of control at Poplar Tent and Derita Roads.
The suspect was injured after shots were fired. They were taken for treatment to the hospital and are expected to be okay.
