A Bessemer City convenience store was robbed on Friday, police said.
The white male suspect robbed the Eaves Farm Supply store located at 601 Gastonia Highway around 2:20 p.m., Sgt. C. Duque said.
He man allegedly asked the clerk for change before reaching into the cash drawer and taking money without being physical or showing a gun. He then fled on foot.
Police have apparently identified a suspect but his name hasn’t been released, according to Duque.
