A man who confronted someone breaking into his vehicle on Monday was shot at, police said.
The police report says the incident occurred on Chestnut Street about 6 a.m. The victim noticed the other man looking into his pickup truck’s rolled down windows so he left his home to confront the suspect.
When the victim was about 45 feet from the suspect, the suspect fired one shot at the victim before fleeing toward South Spruce Street, police said.
Investigators found a shell casing and a bullet hole to the right of the victim’s home’s front door, they said.
There have been no arrests made.
