CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two suspects committed three armed robberies in broad daylight at two Charlotte banks, according to police.
One of them happened just this week in Ballantyne.
During each robbery, the banks’ customers were targeted.
An employee of the Terrace Cafe was robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday morning as she attempted to make a deposit for the restaurant at the Wells Fargo on John J. Delaney Drive.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department detectives believe Kelvin Graham and Lamont Caldwell are responsible for not only the Ballentyne robbery, but two other armed robberies that happened at the BB&T bank on Woodlawn Road in South Park.
In these cases, police said employees with Rack Room Shoes and the Arthritis Foundation were robbed at gunpoint early in the morning as they attempted to make deposits.
