Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are working to find the man responsible for robbing a sweepstakes business on Brookshire Boulevard Thursday afternoon.
The Winners World sweepstakes was occupied by two employees when a man walked in with a gun and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene, but no one was hurt. One of the two workers was pregnant and sent to a local hospital as a precautionary measure.
No arrests have been made, and a description of the suspect was not immediately available. Crime in Charlotte (.com) will post details about this case as soon as they are available.
